Our History
Our practice was established in 1985. John Grosfeld started
the practice, working by himself from his home in Pymble.
After a few years the practice had grown and staff had increased.
There was also a need for another partner to the practice.
This necessitated a move to larger commercial premises in
Grandview Street, Pymble. For a number of years John worked
together with his partner, Tony Frawley, until Tony established
his own practice in the Western Suburbs. John’s practice
had become known as Grosfeld Frawley & Associates, which
has remained the trading name of the accounting and taxation
services of John’s business.
During 1991, John’s practice formed a close relationship
with Count Wealth Accountants and John became an Authorised
Representative of Count
Wealth Accountants for providing the firm’s Financial
Planning Services under the name of Grosfeld Financial Services.
In accordance with the firm’s philosophy of providing
a complete range of financial services, John established a
satisfying relationship with BCI International during the
year 2000 and the business of Grosfeld BCI was created. Through
Grosfeld BCI, the firm can meet the need of client’s
in selling or buying their businesses as well as their businesses or residential real estate.
In order to be able to provide the service clients deserve,
the firm’s staff had grown from 1 to 10 and Grandview
Street had become too small.
We therefore moved to our existing location during 2001,
at 1116 Pacific Highway, Pymble, which was the old Pymble
Police Station. This heritage building has always been of
service to the people of Pymble and we felt it appropriate
to continue this worthy tradition.
Soon after the move to our existing location, Paul Meredith
joined the firm as partner of the practice, providing extra
strength to the accounting and taxation services area of the
firm.
Jeff Curtis became a partner in the firm during August 2003,
providing full time attention to business broking and real
estate sales for clients of the firm.
